Dr. Julie Ann Margaret Connolly, MDCM is a McGill-trained family physician with a practice focused on maternity care, obstetrics, no-scalpel vasectomy and infant care including newborn circumcision. Infant circumcision and adult male vasectomy are procedures Dr. Connolly is regularly sought out for from as far away as Sault Ste Marie and North Bay.

Background

Practicing for now more than 22 years, beginning on the West coast of Canada in Vancouver, Dr. Connolly opened her office-based practice in Sudbury, ON in 2006. Dr. Connolly trained in the technique of no-scalpel vasectomy in both Quebec City, Quebec and Tampa, Florida in 2010 and 2011. She subsequently embarked on a Vasectomy International mission trip to Cebu, in the Philippines. Dr. Julie Connolly ultimately began offering this surgical service to Sudburians in the spring of 2011 and is one of the main regional providers of this procedure. She serves the City of Greater Sudbury, North Bay, Elliot Lake and Sault Ste Marie.

Determine if no-scalpel vasectomy is right for you by booking a free consultation with Dr. Julie Connolly to learn about the procedure, risks, benefits and discuss any concerns you may have. This consultation is typically done as a group counselling session with other men present during the information session. Afterwards, we will go over your health history as it relates to vasectomy and you will receive a brief physical examination to ensure you are a candidate for no-scalpel vasectomy. If you have been approved for vasectomy, we can book in your procedure at the end of the consultation. All vasectomy procedures are performed on Fridays. If you have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, you must have them send a referral via email or fax to Dr. Julie Connolly prior to the day of your consult. If you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, you do not need a referral.
